Why remove telnet and FTP? Sure--it's insecure if you're using it over the internet, but I use it on my laptop at least a few times per year. I have a small 8-port switch where I plug in my laptop, then plug in an APC UPS and access it via telnet (and use FTP as well) to upgrade the firmware from a version that only supports SSHv1 to something newer.
It's not insecure when used in that manner. -A On Wed, Jul 24, 2019 at 9:58 AM Robert Simmons <rsimmo...@gmail.com> wrote: > I wonder if FreeBSD should drop support for 32bit?
