Can you remove your /usr/src/usr.sbin/i4b directory and cvsup again.
I'm guessing that you've previously installed a version of i4b 0.83 over
the top of the source tree and there's some files that aren't required
still in your source tree.

Every case so far of failure to compile i4b has been for a reason similar
to this.
