I seem to remember hearing an anecdote somewhere that using hundreds (or thousands?) nullfs mounts for jails results in unreasonably bad file system access performance. Does somebody have this kind of setup / is it true?
I'm using about several readonly nullfs mounts per jail: usr, bin sbin, lib, libexec, with ~20 jails per machine, and the speed is just fine, on 7.0-STABLE.
