Oops! Even with suggested changes to make.conf and Makefile,
Buildworld fails with: /usr/obj/usr/src/i386/usr/libexec/elf/ld: cannot
find -lsasl
Any ideas?

You idea works ok only provided the following change is made to
/usr/src/usr.sbin/sendmail/Makefile:
LDADD+= -lutil -lwrap
instead of
LDADD= -lutil -lwrap
Could you please commit this change to stable?
