On a number of occasions, I've had the ntpd PLL start oscillating and winding up saturated at +500ppm or -500ppm. Removing ntpd.drift lets it recover. Admittedly, this was mostly on old versions of ntpd - I'm not sure if the problem is still present. -- Peter Jeremy _______________________________________________ freebsd-stable@freebsd.org mailing list http://lists.freebsd.org/mailman/listinfo/freebsd-stable To unsubscribe, send any mail to "[EMAIL PROTECTED]"
