That's a NULL pointer de-reference - it Shouldn't Happen(TM). Can you get a backtrace from kgdb ("where")? >[vmcore.0] >---------------------------------- >Unread portion of the kernel message buffer: >ÃwÄ0¿Á0ÂÁ"ÀíÁÀJðÂÄüÂ3ÄÓÂÀíÁÀóÂDþÁÀóÂðCÂÀíÁ1Ä >ÃðÚÃÀíÁ´ÂÄBð°ÄÁÀíÁ"[EMAIL PROTECTED]@ >---------------------------------- The most likely problem is that your vmcore file doesn't match your kernel. Are you running kgdb with the same kernel as was running when the system crashed? (If you don't have that kernel handy, you might as well delete vmcore.0). -- Peter Jeremy _______________________________________________ freebsd-stable@freebsd.org mailing list http://lists.freebsd.org/mailman/listinfo/freebsd-stable To unsubscribe, send any mail to "[EMAIL PROTECTED]"
