Hi, I have setup this command to run nightly via a crontab. It works fine from the root shell (tcsh) but doesn't seem to run from the crontab:
/bin/cp /etc/master.passwd /etc/master.passwd_backup_`/bin/date +%Y%m%d` It's got something to do with the backticks but I can't find a way around it.. Can anyone help?
