My pkgtools.conf part: MAKE_ARGS = { ... 'editors/openoffice.org-2.0' => [ '-DWITH_CUPS', '-DWITH_KDE', 'LOCALIZED_LANG=ru', '-DWITH_GPC', '-DWITH_CCACHE' ], ... }
FWIW, I spotted the same problem today. portupgrade -N doesn't pick up the MAKE_ARGS from pkgtools.conf. -- If it's there, and you can see it, it's real. If it's not there, and you can see it, it's virtual. If it's there, and you can't see it, it's transparent.
