I get one of the TEMPers from Brando some months ago, and finally managed to put a small command line utility together: http://wiki.zs64.net/TEMPer_USB_Thermometer I did look at the sample code in http://err.no/src/TEMPer.c, but decided to start from scratch, using the LM75 data sheet. On my 8-stable box it's working just fine, also in VMware with -current. I did have to reduce the IIC clock frequency down to 100 Hz to get it work in a stable fashion though.
