Hi! The support for newer broadcom wifi-cards is new to FreeBSD-11. This means that you either have to install the latest PC-BSD-11 beta or wait for the final release of 11 (which should be ”soonish”) to follow these instructions. First you have to reconfig/recompile your kernel. This is done by adding the following lines to your kernel config (found at /usr/src/sys/amd64/conf/GENERIC): options BWN_GPL_PHY options BWN_DEBUG You then need to uncomment some lines in /usr/src/sys/modules/bwn/Makefile, just read the comments in the Makefile and it should be obvious which lines. Then run "make buildkernel && make installkernel” in /usr/src. If everything went right, you should then add these lines to /boot/loader.conf and reboot: bwn_v4_ucode_load="YES" bwn_v4_n_ucode_load="YES" if_bwn_load="YES" Now, with any luck, you should have a working BCM4321! Just remember that it doesn’t do 802.11n yet. This however is far superior to no wireless at all! If you have any further questions, don’t hesitate to ask! -- /Hälsningar Björn _______________________________________________ freebsd-wireless@freebsd.org mailing list https://lists.freebsd.org/mailman/listinfo/freebsd-wireless To unsubscribe, send any mail to "freebsd-wireless-unsubscr...@freebsd.org"
