A rather funny corruption of the English language. :D
Anyway, just so that I do not inadvertently cause
some ugly neologism to come into being, and to fix
the logic of that sentence for those who would care
enough to try to understand it, here is a re-write:
I decided that this temporary setback is acceptable
in light of the advantage gained by synchronizing
the two branches.
