Follow-up Comment #3, bug #14099 (project freeciv): I've checked the trunk version and it does seem to save options on exit (last release does not). So this bug can be closed.
However, I am reporting the following message as it requests: 1: In file /home/ann/.civclientrc, there is no entry in the registry for worklists.worklist1.wl_is_unit1 (or the entries are out of order. This means a less efficient non-tabular format will be used.
