Details:

I were sure I have reported similar problem before, but could not find the
ticket.

Attached civ1 autogame, after year 1500:
1: Failed server/sanitycheck.c:572 at
../../../src.patched/server/srv_main.c:737! !(punit->transported_by != -1)

This seems to happen only with civ1 ruleset but with it often. In the past a
bit similar problems have been caused by the fact that in civ1 cities can be
next to each other and can create canals through which ships can sail to
tiles completely surrounded by land squares.
