Follow-up Comment #3, bug #18339 (project freeciv): The book "Foundations of GTK+ Development" from 2007, chapter 2, p28 (found on Google <http://books.google.com/books?id=L1BZZYRrqSgC&pg=PA28&lpg=PA28&dq=gtk+signal+name+dash+underscore&source=bl&ots=1f6Mxtj4G6&sig=aCEIBks1plnW6eMHQS2VyvaX_r4&hl=en&ei=cys0ToOdGMy6hAfx5LGMCw&sa=X&oi=book_result&ct=result&resnum=4&ved=0CCsQ6AEwAw>) claims:
"When typing the signal name, the underscore and dash characters are interchangeable. They will be parsed as the same character, so it does not make any difference which one you choose." I haven't found anything in the Gtk/Glib reference stating this, though, so I don't know whether it applies to all versions and all signals. _______________________________________________________ Reply to this item at: <http://gna.org/bugs/?18339> _______________________________________________ Message sent via/by Gna! http://gna.org/ _______________________________________________ Freeciv-dev mailing list Freeciv-dev@gna.org https://mail.gna.org/listinfo/freeciv-dev
