Follow-up Comment #4, bug #19859 (project freeciv):
Have you done system update recently? I think I had a bit similar problem some
months back when system update had moved libreadline from /usr/lib/ to
/usr/lib/x86_84-linux-gnu/ Old freeciv builds still expected to find it from
old place. Rerunning configure should help in such a case.
