Follow-up Comment #1, patch #5696 (project freeciv):
While this is a good idea, I don't think this can be committed yet. First one
needs to fix all the places where for example fc_assert_ret[_val]() is used as
the *only* means of error handling, or other necessary functionality has been
put inside fc_assert_xxx()
