Summary: Unexpected gameloss in 2.5.0 Project: Freeciv Submitted by: dunnoob Submitted on: Mon 28 Dec 2015 09:55:28 UTC Category: None Severity: 3 - Normal Priority: 5 - Normal Status: None Assigned to: None Originator Email: Open/Closed: Open Release: Discussion Lock: Any Operating System: None Planned Release: _______________________________________________________ Details: The new gameloss_style = "CivilWar","Loot" (or similar) instead of "just remove all cities + units" is very nice, but in 2.5.0 it did not yet always work as expected. Notably killing a leader could be interpreted as suicidal (gameloss for the killer instead of the victim.) I've attached an Unexpected.gameloss.zip which should allow to reproduce this oddity. The ZIP contains Unexpected.gameloss.sav and the used 2.5/dunnoob.serv for a slightly modified classic ruleset in 2.5/dunnoob (only the gameloss_style is relevant). Related, sometimes gameloss_style = "CivilWar","Loot" yields no loot at all for the killer, and another player gets the loot. Apparently the server is confused who is who when a leader is killed. _______________________________________________________ File Attachments: ------------------------------------------------------- Date: Mon 28 Dec 2015 09:55:28 UTC Name: Unexpected.gameloss.zip Size: 165kB By: dunnoob <http://gna.org/bugs/download.php?file_id=26164> _______________________________________________________ Reply to this item at: <http://gna.org/bugs/?24236> _______________________________________________ Message sent via/by Gna! http://gna.org/ _______________________________________________ Freeciv-dev mailing list Freeciv-dev@gna.org https://mail.gna.org/listinfo/freeciv-dev
