To clarify, I just cleared the "owner" field. Whatever name it was, public or username, is what sourceforge chose. IMHO the bug is clearly in a state where we need more Col1 compatibility information, and having it assigned to anyone is premature. If this was out of line I apologize. >>> Is it possible to give developers editing capabilities to the bug reports? >>[Attempted fix] > Unfortunately, it does not seem to have worked, as i see no way of changing > it (and i logged out and in to avoid any residual cookie permissions). If it was working, I would expect on a normal bug report in the title box you would see something like: #2393 Mac version doesn't run <RSS icon> <Letter icon> <pencil icon> Move <pencil icon> Edit Sourceforge are definitely still busy restoring lost functionality. Shortly after the upgrade I was trying to reclassify a bug report as an improvement request and could not see any means to do so. The "Move" option must have only appeared very recently. > Another thing i noticed is that there does not seem to exist a way for one > to check the project level one is in Agreed. The user profile is uninformative for me too. All I can see that mentions non-admin project levels is the page where they are defined: https://sourceforge.net/p/freecol/admin/groups/ which I can not get to without authenticating. Do you want us to try removing you from the developer group and adding you again? Cheers, Mike Pope
