Still seems to be missing, here and in the follow up message. > At the time I first noticed this bug I had version 1.6 of Java, then I > updated to 1.7 and it still didn’t work, then 1.8 and I still got the > same message. Agreed. I am unaware of any mac-specific bundling code in the FreeCol sources other than the configuration in the top level build.xml. I fear all the developers who ever worked closely with the installer are currently inactive. I know nothing about it and avoid touching it unless it is broken and someone tells me how to fix it. > Looking back at the archives it seems like the mac version was bundled > quite a long time ago, I’m not sure if it has been updated since then > but this is what I could find on it > https://sourceforge.net/p/freecol/mailman/message/1128349/ > <https://sourceforge.net/p/freecol/mailman/message/1128349/>. I doubt the mac parts of the installer have changed much, ever. > Does anyone have any information on the actual code for the app bundler, The project seems to be active, at: izpack.org FreeCol just uses it, we have no ongoing involvement with izpack. > I am very eager to help with this bug, whether it be looking at the code > for the installer, FreeCol, etc. Please let me know how I can best help. I suggest you download the FreeCol sources, work out how to update the installer or at least the mac-specific parts, get it working again, and tell us how what to do. That would be really helpful!
