I have now committed a new method for rendering the base tiles. We are now using masks for making the transitions on-the-fly while rendering. This should make it much easier to make new types of terrains, and also increase the resolution of existing terrains, as all you need is a single center tile that can be seamlessly tiled. Please report any issue you might have, excluding the know issues mentioned below. I have tested the rendering speed on a 10 year old gaming laptop -- and think it's good enough, but please do tell if you have issues on your hardware. Known issues: 1. Missing transitions in the corners between the tiles (N, S, E, W). 2. The errors in the borders for beaches and high seas are easier to spot (the images should be fixed). 3. Visible lines when tiling high seas (the images should be fixed). Best wishes, Stian Grenborgen
