It's now possible to have fog of war enabled without the fog being displayed. Displaying the fog can be activated using a new menu option. The fog is now hidden by default -- the reason being that rendering fog of war is really slow on some systems. I can look into why drawing with fog enabled results in poor performance if you strongly disagree with this new default. Best wishes, Stian Grenborgen
