Thank you for expressing this better than I had. I think what
you suggest above is the de-facto state of things. I like to
think that the difference is that at Freed.in, we do try to
listen to other people, and act on a consensus when possible,
though how far we are successful in this is a question for
others.

I am quite worried about (a) how to make it possible for
more people to participate actively, and (b) include more
people in the group planning and executing the event. Our
inability to get more people involved both here, and in
ILUG-Delhi is a serious matter of concern for us.
