I am now officially tired of such constant harvesting of email addresses by filthy, unscrupulous, social-networking sites. These people give honest spammers a bad name, and if you join them, you get what you deserve. While I understand that you might have been unawares of having your addressbook harvested for such spam, I now firmly believe that the onus is on mailing-list users to be aware of such practices, and that such messages be immediate grounds for temporary banning from the list, as per my preference. At the very least, it is grounds for moderation of that user account until further notice.
