For example, I'm heading into Boulder later to change out some labels in an art show (to reflect the new sales tax amounts), and might be able to hook up with you to give you the open space tape, but now I have to go hunt up your phone number. I've had more folks tell me it was useful that I put all this in so they can get hold of me if its important. If nothing else it gives the sense of accessibility, even if you aren't available when someone calls....
