I'd been told the Camera now had some new agendas, and was totally biased on some issues. While I've always been annoyed to find very little focus on East County, in spite of the banner saying it was Boulder County's paper, that apparently was only the tip of the iceberg.
I have known Paul Tiger for years, and have seen few people more concerned about issues of justice, property rights, and transparent and responsible local government. The article that Clint Talbott wrote is patently out of line. Voters who want to know where a County Commissioner candidate stands on the issues got nothing out of it. Except of course a clear understanding that the Camera has certain candidates it is choosing to target, with the weapon of words. This kind of irresponsible reporting is going to get you a lawsuit someday.
Paul supports the right to carry arms and does so responsibly and has never shot anyone. He knows what the laws are and abides by theml. Talbott (and by extension the Daily Camera) has the right to say whatever he wants but he chooses to use words to launch a personal attack at the first opportunity, with no content other than that designed to try to damage the candidate's credibility. Who's more responsible?
