Hello,

FreedomBox web interface uses the Django web framework. So while
localizing FreedomBox[1], it is also necessary to localize Django
itself. Some strings from Django are shown in FreedomBox interface.

Further, if you localize FreedomBox, the language will not show up in
the list of languages to select in the UI unless the language is also
supported by Django. This means not just adding language name into
Django but actually localizing Django[2][3]. We will be working around
this problem for one language: Gujarati. If a language you have
localized FreedomBox for does not show up in the UI, please create an
issue for this[4].
