What about a hurd of little gnus, same meshing concept, but gnus instead of flowers? :) I mean, gnus are a good depiction of (software) freedom, well known around the world, while eagles are a symbol of imperialism for most of it and I bet flowers can be something similar in some places... -- Salud!
