Automatic security upgrades risking bricking the (likely headless) device are a problem. If the host runs a minimal system and all the action is in the virtual guests at least the trouble can be contained. Who's liable for autoupgrade bricking or just requires-manual-intervention for recovery, by the way? Will there be regular Debian support channels, or something dedicated? > If interested in such tasks I encourage you to get in touch with > toolchain developers at Debian itself and Emdebian: Improvements applied > there will reach FreedomBox when proven to be reliable. -- Eugen* Leitl leitl http://leitl.org ______________________________________________________________ ICBM: 48.07100, 11.36820 http://www.ativel.com http://postbiota.org 8B29F6BE: 099D 78BA 2FD3 B014 B08A 7779 75B0 2443 8B29 F6BE _______________________________________________ Freedombox-discuss mailing list [email protected] http://lists.alioth.debian.org/mailman/listinfo/freedombox-discuss
