I did. And the package was accepted into NEW after this change. I also added code in setup.d/ to put it in /home/fbx/ on the freedombox. > > and copy it in place in some setup.d script? > > dont. if you do it automatically its equally buggy as the current code and if > one has to do it manually, whats the point?! Your comment about "equally buggy" make me suspect you do not know the setup.d/ directory in freedombox-setup? As far as I can tell, having a file in the package and doing stuff in setup.d/ are fundamentally different. But I must admit, I am not sure what the point of the fbx user and its README file is, so I leave it to others to answer that question. So far I have kept it as it was under the assumtion that those who designed the freedombox setup intended it to be there. I suggest you follow up on <URL: http://lists.alioth.debian.org/pipermail/freedombox-discuss/2013-September/005725.html > to continue the discussion about the predefined users on the freedombox. The predefined users with known passwords are a security problem as I see it, and the README is not shown to normal users of Plinth, so I fail to see the point of having it in /home/fbx/. -- Happy hacking Petter Reinholdtsen _______________________________________________ Freedombox-discuss mailing list [email protected] http://lists.alioth.debian.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/freedombox-discuss
