In the context of openness I highly doubt it is interesting at all: It 
uses same SoC as a previous model which as I understand it implies it 
cannot even boot without a non-DFSG-compliant blob.

Additionally it contains no ethernet and has no builtin USB hub.  So 
even disregarding the aspect of openness, in the aspect of features it 
is not comparable to previous Raspberry Pi models or the OLinuXino 
boards, but insted comparable to the breed of devices popularized by the 
Rikomagic mk802 (except the zero comes with zero casing).
