You are running on Debian stable which is too old to support FreedomBox.
 Also no one has tested FreedomBox on Rasbian yet.  You have two options
to run FreedomBox:

- Use the FreedomBox image for Raspberry Pi 2[1].

- Upgrade your existing image to Debian testing or unstable and then
follow the FreedomBox installation process for Debian[2].
