Dietmar, This is unfortunately a known issue which is not fixed yet. libapache2-mod-php7.2 keeps the earlier version 7.0 enabled after installation. The system ends up with both mod-php versions enabled.
The fix that worked for me is to disable and remove libapache2-mod-php7.0 and then restart the apache2 server. -- Regards Joseph Nuthalapati On Sunday 18 March 2018 07:02 PM, permondes - sagen wrote: > The issue was that there was left for some reason > libapache2-mod-php7.0, additionally to 7.2. > I removed that, then enabled mbstring and xml and got no error. > So I think my installation is kind of clean now. > However, when going to mediawiki, I only see >> run(); > on the browser. > > Best would be to re-install mediawiki via Plinth, I think.
