Well, stupid of me I did not test that on my images. Because it
indeed fails. I use the 2.06 version of usbaspi since that one will
auto-unload when no USB-device is present. 
I experience a "freeze" when trying to detect an USB-device.
When no USB-device is present it will just unload usbaspi,
and there is no problem.

I do not experience a reboot.
