Ehm, you guys mean something like this scheme? Where 'N' mean the 'MS' component, 'Y' means FreeDOS component, '/' means 'not in use'.

I still haven't setup a decent multiboot environment:
*install Win98
*install FreeDOS as dualboot on same partition
*adapt config.sys (msdos) and fdconfig.sys (freedos) with menu entries for different drivers.
To be announced FreeDOS distro (no release date yet, thinking halway through March) should automatically setup such an environment.
