As bugzilla is still down (not that this is really there or should be) I
would like to open a discussion. I make no assertion that I will
implement any of these, but I'm curious and just may.
What features in command.com would people like to see implemented?
Please provide reference to full syntax and example usage.
For example if there is a particular 4DOS syntax you like and FreeCom
does not support it, then point me to the command and its documentation.
Or maybe you want an extension that NT's command has.
So far I know of CD ... syntax, which I believe is equivalent to CD
..\..; optionally where each additional . is one more .. down.
I would like it to support LFNs. Currently I know DIR does, and I know
CD needs it, probably also FOR. Any other commands? md/rd? How to
enable and disable supporting them? and how acceptable is 7BIT ASCII
only support, at least initially?
And while I'm on the topic, any known bugs that really need addressing?
Preferably ones that don't require any major changes to FreeCom source.
