A trick explained by Tom (IIRC) long time ago, to make a memory region
not being discarded at exit time is to make it self-parented. Of course,
you won't invoke a program from KEYB (unless in future version I come up
with the idea of using keypresses to launch programs, if we would like
to make some use of the "email" and "web" buttons in the keyboard; in
any case, far away future).
