Please be more specific, the [current cvs] 386 optimized stable kernel should be fine, even with EMM386 trashing fs/gs as it alreadys contains code to protect 386 specific but important registers. However given that this uses precious stack space, could result in other weird behavior if a program is on the edge of stack usage.

Now if you are using the 386 optimized dev kernel, then yes it is still not compatible with our EMM386.

(Please do let me know which kernel it is, stable or dev, as you either found a known issue, a new issue, or potential problem with the current EMM386 workaround.)
