You can always copy the contents of c:\fdos\bin there, and adjust
your PATH setting... However, I know no old DOS program which is
fixed to using c:\dos, you can often configure it.

You should make a list of cases where names differ and how.

It is planned to become a FreeDOS 1.1 base distribution :-)

I agree. Note that fdbasecd already is relatively small ;-).
