This feature already exists and is much older than 2035 ;-)
It is called the DJ mechanism: When you try to access drive
B: DOS displays a message that you have to put the "other"
diskette into your A: drive and then press ENTER. When you
then access A: again, you get the same message, asking you
to insert the previous diskette again. So you have to play
diskjockey and DOS lets you use 1 drive for both A: and B:.
