Hi,

While reviewing the mouse programming API under DOS, I noticed that
cutemouse driver's behaviour for the API fn 10h ("define screen region
for updating") diverges from the one from Microsoft. In cutemouse case,
when the pointer gets out the exclusion zone, the pointer automatically
reappear; with the MS driver, the cursor remains hidden even outside the
zone, and must be explicitely shown again. I checked the Logitech
driver, and it follows the MS driver behaviour as well.

Which semantics is the right one for this API fn? If the MS driver is
the reference implementation, then it means that cutemouse dont' get the
semantics right...

Any idea?

Eric
