These are the tool's I've seen, I think, + one more.
Also "firmware usb stick" would be a good search term I think. Because rewriting the firmware - if possible and if you are able to locate the proper firmware - will bring the stick to it's deault shipping-state. Overwriting with zeroes should not be neccessary, as I checked a few newly bought sticks and they all contained random data all over the stick. I think the firmware does not care at all, what is stored in it's flash chips.
