I think it is more likely that the default JEMMEX options
(e.g. UMB regions I=TEST) are not compatible with the BIOS
or controllers of your i3 computer. Do things work better
on the i3 with other boot options instead of option 1?
As mentioned in my 3 May email about autoexec and config:
"please remove the I=B000-B7FF from the JEMM386 line"
I also suggest to remove I=TEST and use SHELL, not SHELLHIGH.
Option 2 is probably more compatible than option 1, because
it is more "humble", or less aggressive in allocating UMBs.
