I am not sure if bug 304 is already fixed, it was still in 1.3.4. So I report it again.
hi tom, fdisk supports 2 tb in size, it is no problem to create a partition smaller than one TB, but it is not possible to create a partition bigger than 1 TB because too less digits for entering the value are supported, simply try. Of course you can create ONE partition with 2 TB.

Subject: Re: [Freedos-devel] The confusing fdisk releases
Hi,

First, if I recall correctly. There was a 1.3.3. Then very soon afterwards a 1.3.4. But, nothing since.

kind of conclude from: Date Entered 2021-02-22 that it was relase way before 1.3RC4, but as
Jerome Shidel said it does not change Date Entered at each release, I did go to:
where I saw from https://gitlab.com/FDOS/base/fdisk/-/tags that "latest" 1.3.4 was relased 3 monts ago.

For quite a while as a general rule anytime that I update a repo package, I set the “Date-entered” field to the date the program was released. However, it is not impossible for me to overlook or forget to adjust that field.

A better field to use is the “Modified-Date”. It is habit for me to delete that field and I’ll probably end up automating that so I never forget to do it. When a package is uploaded to the repo, the repo management software looks for this field and automatically adds it when it is not present. If the field is present, the date is assumed to be accurate and left alone. This keeps the packages and checksums in the same across multiple repositories. The “Modified-date” field is not displayed on the HTML pages for the repository. You would need to examine the meta-data (LSM) file. You can either download the package or view the text in the pkg-info ( https://www.ibiblio.org/pub/micro/pc-stuff/freedos/files/repositories/latest/pkg-info ) directory for the repo. That directory contains the LSM files (with a .txt extension) for all packages and versions in the repository.
