I have come up with many uses and flavors ideas for Freedos. I was excited
to see in the past that many companies produced different flavours/distros
of DOS and am excited for the future of freedos.

The following are a few projects that are available by the community:

DOSBOX : a virtual DOS system used at first for gaming, and available on
many hardware platforms...
provides real drive hardware access. GPL license
MSDOS 4.01 and source code: now fixed and under an MIT license.

ideas for the future:
use Freedos for a wrist watch os. The samsung watch hardware has alot of
power.
BigDOS: windows 98 ran on a DOS.
Port to Amiga, and c64
BIOSFreeDOS/UEFI Support/questions: supposedly UEFI runs on top of DOS.
Maybe a config file or static look-up table could be used in place of a
bios?... or have freedos be the UEFI?
BFreeDOS: feel free to use the name idea. FreeDOS for the blind and
others. I found out my parents and others hated using the computer.
Programs could be set to run with a single keystroke, like a kiosk or
button user interface. The reason why people around me hated using the
computer was the steep learning curve.

Blynix - is a web browser for the blind using text, and is available for
multiple platforms. It requires some configuration and has support for
https. The g key can be used to type in a web address. The browser uses a
config file.

Carry on.
