Thank you for answering me. A lot of effort has been put into this project.
Thank you all. I would like to ask why a single-user system could not act as,
for example, a jabber server, Nas storage? No support for multithreading?
Cannot handle multiple TCP/IP connections simultaneously? These are not users
of the system. Yes, I think I understand software structure worse than Mac.
I've only been using Linux for 7 years. And that can't compare to your
experience, which is also experience in development. I just see how much effort
went into this project. I'm surprised how such a small team without external
funding was able to create this. I understand that I may look strange. I even
think that I look strange. Please do not be offended by me. I would like the
project to develop and your work to be meaningful. And it is not necessary that
I should be here to change something. Thank you and sorry. ------ Reply to

clearly shows that you are indeed not a programmer, as you stated yourself. You
do not understand HOW software works. Sorry, but you are only fantasizing.
Ideas and ambitions are great, but it doesn't help if one doesn't understand
even the bare fundamentals. And it is a basic fact that DOS (any DOS!) is a
single-user, single tasking operating system. That excludes the use for any of
those overly ambitious dreams of yours. Some of the folks in here are using
DOS, for up to 42 years, for a whole variety of things. The FreeDOS project got
started 30 years ago, because Microsoft made a business decision to drop
MS-DOS. Don't you think if any of what you are "planing" would be viable, it
would have been done by now, in some form or another. Please, try to get back
into reality... Ralf _______________________________________________
