Sure, yes, that is what I did when configuring MS-DOS 3.3 for
customers in 1988 or 1989. :-)

But DOS moved on and matured, and soon it became possible to do much
more mature, professional-looking menus, firstly with 3rd party tools
and then by DR or MS-DOS 5, with built-in tools.

While I liked using DOS and would be happy to use some DOS even now, I
would want late-era DOS, not 1980s style. :-D
