Hi!

My view: FreeDOS is a distribution, and we don't control
the "third party" tools that we include.

Well we have excluded things in the past for not having
a nice enough open source license, so we would easily
be able to exclude things for containing too much AI
generated stuff. In both cases, we do of course limit
our choice in apps. However:

We should at least make it easy for the users to know
which packages contain AI-made code or other AI content.
There could even be an installer button to exclude those.

After all, even search engines routinely offer filters
to exclude AI-made "photos" and other AI generated stuff.

And as long as the product labels tell about those, most
consumers in Europe are able to avoid food with GMO.

Which is why industry lobbying has been able to tell
EU politics to stop telling users about those. Well.

While we are not under pressure from lobbyists yet, we
should seize the opportunity and label AI content ;-)

Eric
