I am very disappointed. I installed and tried the new FreeDOS kernel 2046 but immediately I found that it can't run Volkov Commander 4.9908a.
I have nothing changed in my hardware and software, only the kernel. Under all DOSes I have tried and under FreeDOS kernels up to 2044 is everything OK but under 2046 I get this: JemmEx: exception 06 occured at CS:EIP=0000:00000013, ERRC=00000000 SS:ESP=228A:000008F8 EBP=20445016 EFL=00033287 CR0=80000011 CR4=00000210 ... [CS:IP]=F0 54 FF 00 F0 12 00 00 Press ESC to abort program ...If I press ESC the computer frezes defitively. If I return kernel 2044 the Volkov starts to work again. I believe there is new bug introduced in attempt to improve Win 3.11 compatibility.
