I'm having a little trouble with the disc - I put it in the target machine, which has no HD (Just two 720k floppy drives) and the bootup stops at initdisk - `no hd founnd' or something to that effect.
Does it hang at the "no hard disks detected" message or exactly where?
I put it in a machine with an HD and it worked. Why does it stop because the other machine had no HD?
Frankly - I don't know! If we have a problem here, this is a kernel problem (probably in initdisk.c) so I copy this message to the kernel mailing list (hope you don't mind). But first, could you tell me exactly what machine is this? Can you give as much technical information as possible?
Thanks, Lucho
