Ask again: please, remind me, ke2034_16 - is a _8086_ kernel with FAT32 or a 8086 kernel with _FAT16_? On site this is not explained. Also, is there complete diff file against current CVS and latest official release (which should be shorter than complete CVS snapshot)? I also not found on site explanations/mentions for this.
Bart distributes 8086 kernels, not 80386 optimized kernels. Lucho does that. this because of the freedos specification which demands components should run on 8086 also not even sure MSDOS 7.10 would run on a 8086 (not Windows ofcourse, but the DOS part)
-16 is with fat12 and fat16 support, -32 adds fat32 support on top of this.
DIFF between what and what? Bart posted a DIFF file between 2033 and 2034 sources. CVS probably is identical to 2034 release (only a few days have passed).
probably no daily DIFF against the 2034 kernel, only a complete CVS snapshot.
